Proverbs 3:5-6

A lot of us would readily say, “Yes, I know I need God.” But until you’re in a situation where you can hardly get going in the morning because of pain and heartache, then you may not know what it means to actually need him.

Entering into another person’s suffering is an incredible strengthening agent in relationships, because if you never fall apart together you’ll never know the victory of being lifted up together. 

After I gave my life to Jesus when I was in eighth grade, I became a sponge for the truth. The youth pastor at my church taught from Jeremiah 29. I’ll never forget what he said.

Nothing in our past has the power to separate us from the love of God.

God is still good, even when…

Change is hard. Getting stuck in a rut is easy. Being comfortable in our world is the easiest rut to fall into and the most difficult to give up when required.

God didn’t stay distant. He came near.

You don’t earn grace, you unwrap it. It’s a gift.

I’m only 31, but it feels like I’ve lived a long life.

In order to believe that God is faithful, we must grasp two things…

You can’t wear shame and righteousness at the same time. 

You’re not guilty, you’re FREE. And freedom sounds like forgiveness.

You woke up to mercy today.

Stop diving after what God has already buried in your life.
